ABOUT HOLLI
Holli Draines is a public speaker, former law enforcement officer, former United States Secret Service Agent USSS) for the 44th Presidential Administration of President Barack Obama and 43rd Administration of President George W. Bush, advisor, and successful entrepreneur in the male-dominated field of security risk management.
Holli began her two-decade-long career in law enforcement at the Hartford Police Department in Hartford, CT where she was the first woman and woman of color to graduate from its Academy at the top of her class. Holli served on the police force at the Hartford Police Department for six years before entering the United States Secret Service Training Academy. As part of a multi-layered process for the USSS Training Academy, Holli successfully completed training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center FLETC) and USSS Rowley Training Center before graduating as a Special Agent.
Holli faithfully served at the Special Agent for nearly 13 years and thought it would be her forever role; but in 2017, was faced with a profound life event that changed the course of her career. With her distinguished and extensive experience in executive protection and security risk management, Holli founded Elite Strategy Consulting and Risk Management Inc. DBA Elite Strategy Global, a risk management and security firm based in Washington, DC serving an exclusive clientele.
Today, Holli continues to lead and grow Elite Strategy Global and has found another passion in mentorship and motivational speaking on women empowerment and authentic leadership, being the ‘first,ʼ and overcoming adversity. Holli holds a Master’s of Science in Forensics from the University of New Haven and a Ph.D. candidate in Homeland Security Leadership & Policy at Northcentral University.
